| Just how truly effective is the Sonic Dry Clean System? Independent research conducted by California Environmental Engineering, an environmental testing laboratory in Anaheim, California concluded that:
“THE SONIC DRY CLEAN METHOD IS AN EFFICIENT,
FAST AND COST EFFECTIVE WAY TO CLEAN AIR FILTERS…
IT IS EVIDENT THAT THIS PROCESS WILL EXTEND
THE LIFE OF AIR
|
FILTERS WHILE AT THE SAME TIME LOWER MAINTENANCE COSTS.”
California Environmental Engineering performed extensive tests on a variety of filters. All the filters were weighted and flow checked (using a manometer) prior to testing, and to simulate clogging the laboratory poured dry powdered paint down the side of each filter, turning them to completely coat the filter surfaces. The filters were then flow checked again.
The next step was to clean all the filters using
the Sonic Dry Clean System, and when the cleaning
was complete, the filters were re-weighed. Overall,
|
the study found that the precoat on the filters added 2.0% to their original weight.
It is also important to note that the Sonic Dry
Clean System does not remove the protective cake
of dust, or, “precoat” that has collected
on the filter media during its early life. Consequently,
the air filter is operating at maximum efficiency
after the cleaning process, and that’s better
than a new filter!
