Dura-Life Scrim Supported Oleophobic Now Available
for Dalamatic® Collectors
As Dura-Life increases in popularity, we are
continuing to expand the number of applications that Dura-Life
can be used in by adding new Dura-Life variations. We are happy to
announce that Dura-Life is now available in scrim supported
oleophobic for Dalamatic collectors and Dalamatic replacement bags.
Pricing can be found for this new option in your new price
sheets.
The polyester fibers in Dura-Life oleophobic bags are
impregnated with a fluorocarbon based resin, which assists in
releasing wet, oily or sticky dust cakes during cleaning. Dura-Life
oleophobic should be used where relative humidity cannot be
controlled, or maintained at levels to keep the dust dry and
free-flowing, or where dew point issues play a part in changing a
particulate's characteristics. Prime dust applications would
include sugar, salts, cement, portland cement, lime/calcium, food,
spices, animal feeds and grains.
Lab testing has shown that Dura-Life oleophobic will
provide the same benefits as standard Dura-Life
including:
- Longer bag life due to lower pressure drop
- Reduced emissions
- Energy savings when used with VFD (variable
frequency drive)
